ETA 04/23/2011 4:32 PM: Here are the extras! (These are just supplementary materials for the full review on the Cozycot website. Please do read the article there too! :D )
Extra 01: The Product in a Nutshell, Stockpiled!-style
Price: P795.00 (I think this is reasonable considering its excellent performance and my frequency of use.)
Location Bought: Watsons SM Megamall
Approximate Date Bought: December 2010
Packaging: Function over form. Doe foot applicator. Unbreakable (in my experience).
Color and Pigmentation: My shade was Medium. Pigmentation was strong - it practically made my pimple scars invisible!
Formulation: Consistency was slightly thick, like my favorite BB cream. Practically scentless, save for a very light alcohol scent. Non-sticky. Long lasting - lasts a full school day on me (10AM - 5PM).
More after the jump!
Extra 02: In Action - This Concealer is Blush Friendly!
Because Revlon's concealer isn't sticky like the concealers of other drugstore brands, it makes for a very cooperative blush companion. No ugly caking or clumping whatsoever!
My whole hand has a layer of blended-out concealer in this photo. Notice how the blush (NARS Mata Hari) still looks smooth despite being on top of concealer. |
Here's the blush on my cheek, again, over a layer of the concealer. Look at that nice, non-clumpy flush! |
Extra 03: In Action - This Concealer is Pretty Good for the Undereyes too!
While the blemish concealer is designed primarily for pimple scars, it makes for a decent undereye concealer as well. It doesn't lighten my dark areas as much as I'd like it to, but it does blur fine lines. My eye without concealer |

are you moving to another blogsite or are you still going to post reviews here?
ReplyDelete^No, I'm not moving. Still going to post here, Stockpiled will always be my main blog. :D
ReplyDeletewow! that's good to know! (^_^)
ReplyDeletejust a word of advice. i believe this product contains saliclyic acid which is great for pimples yet not so great for your uber sensitive undereye area. you should think twice before using it there.
ReplyDeleteHot-jade-ice: I googled about salycilic acid on the undereye area and you're right! Thank you for the heads-up!
ReplyDeleteNice post and cool blog, I've been reading a lot of your reviews :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice concealer though it's a bit way over my budget for a high school-er like me XD
As I'm a tester-freak, I think Maybelline's AngelFit Concealer is also like that of Revlon's :) I have problem-prone skin and when I tested Maybelline's concealer, it quite covered my marks and visible pores nicely.. And it's also quite effective on dark circles :)
But it melts a bit on my face though since I sweat a lot..
As for Revlon, I tested it before and it's quite nice too ^^
Btw, Revlon has a nice full coverage cream to liquid compact foundation..Flawless skin in an instant! :)
