Etude House mini-haul

Etude House's SM Megamall branch (Bldg A, near Toy Kingdom) opened today and I went to have a look. I really only intended to LOOK, but I ended up buying some stuff! And why is that?

I am VERY HAPPY to report that Etude House's local prices are extremely reasonable, perhaps even more so than The Face Shop and Elianto. Take that, Skin Food!

Isn't their store packaging super girly? The WHOLE store is super girly, actually. My brother, who I was with at the time, wouldn't even go NEAR it!

These are what I bought, all for only the grand total of P900.00. (Try taking that amount to Skin Food and see how little you can get hahaha! But don't get me wrong, I still love Skin Food, not just its overly jacked-up local prices!)

One polish from their Petit Darling Nails line (pink handle, P48.00 - yes, ONLY P48.00!), two polishes from their Petit Darling Nails - High Beam line (metallic purple handle, P98.00 each), their much-raved about Fresh Cherry Tint in Red (P328.00), and their Lovely Cookie Blusher in shade #2 (P328.00).

Here's what the blush looks like opened:

And I'm pretty sure most of you Korean makeup fans are familiar with the FCT's appearance:

I didn't browse around their Skin Care section as I was in a rush, but if these prices I mentioned are any indication, their popular skin products are bound to be cheap too!

Reviews of the tint and blush coming soon! (Check out The Nail Polish Ninja for swatches of the three polishes too!)

Please note that since the store is very new, the staff is still very inexperienced. The SAs are kind, but don't expect them to be able to answer your questions. Hopefully they will get better as time passes.

  1. Great haul :) I wish there was etude house where I live.

Could you review the fresh cherry tint & show how it looks on?

  2. ^I plan to post a review on it sometime next week. :)

  3. nice haul! :) do you happen to know if etude house has another branch here in the phil? otherwise, i'm gonna have to check that store out in megamall even though it's miles from my house.

  4. ^I think they plan to open another store in Alabang Town Center. :)

  5. waah! wana try their blush and cheek tint.. walang etude house dito =P hopefuly mag-open sila dito.. Korek! grabe yung prices sa Skinfood dito..

  6. Heh heh. I read EH is opening there so I have been waiting for your post, I knew you WOULD check it out and how to resist the goodies huh? =P

I agree with the girlie image, everything pinkish, make me feel young everytime i pop into the outlet. Hahaha.

Oh yes, I have the tear-drop sparkling eyeliner (forgot the actual name) on my next shopping list.

  7. I wanted to get the cookie blusher in #2 as well! Please do a review if you can dear!

  8. wow you're able to pull up that bright cheek tint! isn't it a bit drying though since it's long lasting? I love Etude House I bought their Precious mineral BB Cream in Sheer Glowing :)

  9. ^Hello! Actually it's not a cheek tint, just a lip tint. :) It's not drying at all - the consistency is just right for me.

  10. wow! that's a lot for 900. i heard it's even cheaper than the face shop. I want to go therrreeee!.. lol. im excited.

  11. holy cow..the prices are totally awesome!..i wanna try the lip glosses i've been oogling in various websites..hopefully they'll open a branch in Ayala Cebu or SM Cebu..take that Skin Food and the Face Shop!

  12. I wish Etude House would open a branch here in Davao too..I wanna buy their bb cream so BAD..lol..i got a tea tree toner at Skin Food for P800..talk about expensive..There is a small korean beauty product stall at the mall but it doesn't have all Etude house products there..Oh!and a new mall is opening up at Davao and I hope they have Etude House there..
