Careline blush in Starlight Shine

(Stockpiled! is still updating because of the scheduled posts I made in advance last week. I am aware of the events that happened just recently thanks to typhoon Ondoy. In fact, I was even stranded at my university last Saturday. I am safe and sound now, but there are many others who are still stuck in the flood. Let us all pray for their health and safety.)

I mentioned this blush in my routine post, and Jing (aka the Girl with Glasses) also has a great swatch of this on her blog for you porcelain-skinned gals.

This blush is a very pretty earthy reddish-brown color that works on medium-toned people (like me!) as well as on lighter-toned people (quick, go see Jing's swatch!). I'm quite sure it works well on dark-toned people too, since it's a very pigmented shade.

I think it makes me look "toasted-just-right" - which I really like, because then I get reminded of freshly baked bread rolls. And who doesn't like warm bread straight from the oven?

e.l.f. super glossy lip shine SPF 15 in Watermelon

This color is super wearable!

Its applicator is slightly less slanted and less pointier than most other glosses with this kind of packaging. I find that that makes it easier to apply.

The gloss has a very nice consistency - not too thick, not too runny. It's quite sticky, though, and the light grape scent might put some of you off, but to me, it's just fine.

Saizen Twin Eyeshadow

Ahhh, Saizen. That place is a veritable treasure trove of cheap thrills! Everything for just P85! <3<3<3

When I first visited the store about three months ago, it didn't have much makeup. Just last week, though, I was happy to find that it had stocked up on more of it!

This neutral eyeshadow duo was what I got along with some household items and nail supplies.

The duo is of a reasonably portable size and comes with its own tiny mirror. The mirror is prone to getting dirty, however, because it's in the same spot as the applicator.

The shadows aren't very pigmented, but considering the super cheap price, I'm not complaining.

I think it shows up rather nicely on my lids (since I'm such a barely-there makeup fan and all...).

4u2 Diamond eyeshadow duo No. 41

Store lighting totally fooled me on this one.

I thought it looked more neutral at Watson's, but when I got home...

The peach-pink shade looks scarily unwearable:

Fortunately, it didn't look as bad as I thought it would when combined with the white.

I rather like it now, actually.

Can you guess what this is?

It's the Indonesian pigeon compact I posted about in the past!

The creative bug bit me today, so I decided to dress up the plain white compact with a cellphone sticker sheet I got for P60.00 at FUNctional Trinoma some weeks ago. It's not as "smooth" as what G-mask employees can do, but I love it anyway! (Besides, it would be INSANE to spend P500++ just to have a pressed powder compact G-masked! X_X)

My Routine

The lovely trizh tagged me for this ages ago. I haven't been able to backread posts as much as I want to, so I only saw that she tagged me last Friday. Sometimes I wish I had Adam Sandler's remote in Click so I'll have more time for school and for blogging. XD

I don't have a fixed routine, what I put on my face really all depends on what I feel like. It's all about the experiments!

First I start with the only thing I constantly use : good old Hydro Splash.

I then top the BB cream off with either one of the Pigeons or Elianto Baked - whichever is closer to me at the moment.

If I feel like wearing eyeliner, I use one of these:
(From LEFT: Lancome Le Crayon Khol in Prune - it's a fun purple eyeliner that I super love!, TFS Automatic eyeliner in White, ELF Waterproof eyeliner pen in Coffee. My mom loved my Nichido Bronze Glow so much that she gave me one of her swanky Lancome liners in exchange for it. Haha!)

Lately I've taken a liking to putting ELF's Custom Eyes in Truly Pink on the inner corners of my lids. The pale pink blends with my skintone nicely and makes me look more awake.

And then, if I feel like wearing blush it's a choice among these four Careline shades:
(From TOP LEFT, clockwise: Rosy Cheeks, Starlight Shine, Peach Glow, Touch of Pink)

Although if I feel lazy and don't feel like using brushes I just use my fingers on these things:

These two below are currently my go-to products if I feel like wearing lip gloss:

And finally, if I feel like wearing lipstick, it's TFS' awesome MLBB color, BR803:

And there you have it, my (very indecisive) makeup routine!
